Bloodsimple
Red Harvest
Reprise
45:45 - 11 Tracks
This is a pretty straight forward “new metal” band, you know, medium heavy, hard rock stuff. Some “I’m mad at the world” vocals, nothing too abrasive, just old school Phil Pantera sounding. Some tracks are catchy, but overall, it’s just meat and potatoes solid rock.
Sinamore
Seven Sins a Second
Napalm
43:44 - 10 Tracks
Described as “Gothic Rock…” I guess it holds true, a heavy, yet not speedy metal music foundation with some creepy clean yet, “Gothy”vocals out front. I don’t really know what else to say, it IS Gothic Rock, the production and sound is clear and clean, some songs do work better than others. You may hear this on the Mosh Pit.
Monster Magnet
4-Way Diablo
SPV
57:53 - 13 Tracks
New album! (duh) It’s pretty good, sounds like you’d expect Monster Magnet. Nothing really new or really that heavy. It’s not quite as crazy and fun as previous albums, a bunch of the songs are just kind of slow and depressing. There are a few standouts and you’ll hear them on the Mosh Pit.
Edenbridge
The Chronicles of Eden
Locomotive
62:56 - 13 Tracks (Disc 1 New and bonus tracks)
78:55 - 11 Tracks (Disc 2 - Greatest Hits)
This is a 2 cd compilation of previous work, some previously un-released stuff, new songs, and CD 2 is a Greatest Hits compiled by fans of the band. I’m not too familiar with much from this band, CD1 is pretty run of the mill fe-metal some decent prog metal music backing up clean semi-operatic singing. I’d have to say the stuff on the 2nd Disc is a bit more interesting and, yeah, heavier. You may hear this on the Mosh Pit.
The Devil Wears Prada
Plagues
Rise
37:48 - 10 Tracks
Christian metalcore, I’d probably lump them more into brutal-core, but it is more metal-core than brutal. Some cool breakdowns and neat guitar sounds, it stays pretty heavy. Some songs have some emo singing, which stays mostly in the background. Anytime Christian bands are brutal, it’s way cool. You’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit.
Oh, Sleeper
When I Am God
SolidState
42:21 - 11 Tracks
This is fairly run of the mill metal-core, borderline brutal core. I can’t really tell that there’s anything that makes them stand out from other bands of this genre. They do what they do well, production is clean, the playing is solid. You’ll probably hear this on the Mosh Pit.
Lizzy Borden
Appointment with Death
Metal Blade
54:33 - 11 Tracks
First album in a few years, keeping up with the Glam images, although the photos in the liner notes look more like a black metal band (white face paint, etc.), the music is pretty solid. It’s kind of thrashy, with a hint of the 80’s glam, but just more straight ahead metal. There are a bunch of guest performances, including George Lynch, Eric Rutan (Hate Eternal), Dave Meniketti from Y&T, Corey from Trivium and others. This is something new from a familiar name
The Autumn Offering
Fear Will Cast No Shadow
Victory
37:40 - 11 Tracks
While this is metal core, it’s more like a technical metal core… yeah, that makes total sense!!. The music is heavy, yet technical, the chops are pretty high on this one. While it does have sing-a-long choruses here and there, they work with the heavy and catchy riffs that surround it. The songs are actually fun to listen to, with all of the dynamics and different styles merged into one. You’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit
Serj Tankian
Elect The Dead

Well, you know him from System of A Down, his voice is so unique, the music is not quite as out there and catchy as SOAD, but with his voice, similar music, any fan of SOAD should like this. Unless of course you like SOAD for Daron’s vocals. You may hear this on the Mosh Pit!
