Agnostic Front
Warriors
Nuclear Blast
32:20 - 14 Tracks
As I recall, these guys have a very distinctive lead vocal sound, and that’s still there. The music seems a bit more thrashy than just straightout hardcore. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still hardcore, but it seems a lot more “metal” You’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Astral Doors
New Revelation
Locomotive
47:34 - 11 Tracks
This is fairly run of the mill power metal, with hints of that “epic symphonic” metal sound. It’s pretty good though, production is crisp, songs are alright, just nothing new or groundbreaking, good meat and potatoes power metal. You should hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Exodus
The Atrocity Exhibition
Nuclear Blast
71:42 - 10 Tracks
There’s no f*cking around on this CD. All of the replacement members step up and make this an instant thrash classic. The vocals are a little abrasive, but you know, this is no Baloff or Souza, he’s all new (since the last album) and has his owns style, which fits well with the heavier thrashy sound of new Exodus. You’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Queensryche
Welcome to the Machine (Single)
Rhino
9:12 -2 Tracks
This is from their forthcoming “Take Cover” CD, which will be all covers. This is pretty much what you’d think it was, Queensryche doing this classic Pink Floyd song. They don’t thrash it up, they stay fairly true to the original. It came across pretty cool live a couple months ago when they opened for Heaven and Hell. If we have time, you’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Demon Hunter
Storm The Gates of Hell
SolidState
51:08 – 12 Tracks
Starting off, this is a bit more raw. Still heavy as heck, I’d almost throw them into the brutal-core. Can Christian-metal be brutal? As you get into some tracks more, it gets more “emo vocal” Kind of typical metal-core, with brutal breakdowns, but clean singing chorus stuff here and there. The heavy stuff is way cool, but the emo stuff doesn’t do that much for me. You will hear this on the Mosh Pit though.

Drop Dead, Gorgeous
Worse Than A Fairy Tale
Suretone
48:58 – 12 Tracksa
This is mostly emo-post-hardcore stuff. It’s kind of heavy, yet chaotic with some whiney, screamy vocals. It’s kind of the borderline thing that the mosh pit may or may not play. The music is cool, but the vocals ruin it.

Uncrowned
Devils & Angels
Uncrowned
28:15 – 8 Tracks
This sounds a bit more like hard rock/new solid rock stuff. More for fans of other stations. As always, I can appreciate what they are doing, but it’s just not really the type of stuff for the Mosh Pit.If you request it, we’ll play it of course, it’s not crap!
