Take a some AC/DC, throw in some Clutch and you got these guys. It’s some heavy punching hard rockin’ fun though. Straight Up southern style stoner metal. I think it’s pretty good and you’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Well, at first listen on the first trick… the closest thing I can think of… some emo rock version of Bush? It’s very singy… not really angry enough for the Mosh Pit. While they seem to be good at what they do, it’s just not Mosh Pit material!

Yo! It’s another hardcore record! It’s not too shabby. Just your average meat and potatoes hardcore band, with a little bit of metalcore-ish sound mixed in. The production is raw and edgy, which makes it pretty interesting. This is okay… you may hear it on the Mosh Pit.

Well, this starts off pretty brutal! Usually I have the word “brutal” by my 2nd mini-review thinger. It’s got a mostly grind/death metal vibe… but of course, these days, it wouldn’t be cool without a little bit of metalcore sound, right? Actually, it’s just a pinch of metalcore… it’s is mostly brutal intense stuff, along the lines of Black Dahlia Murder. It’s got the screachy screaming sound with some heavy double kick behind it, then kicking into some great cookie monster vocals. It’s good stuff. You’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Power Metal! There’s been a bunch of new stuff out lately… I think we went a few months without anything in this genre. This isn’t just plain ol whiney dragon slaying power metal. It has some great guitar riffs, even a hint of Slayer in some of the guitars. There’s some decent heavy metal stuff going on, but yet it still keeps its power metal roots. You’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Doro
Warrior Soul

Hey, it’s not too bad… It stays kind of heavy music-wise, but the emphasis is really on the vocals, they are way up in the mix. It’s a pretty straight ahead hard rock album. Some songs get a little mellow, but what can you expect!? Nothing really outstanding here. It’s almost like a Dio album, but with Doro singing! heh. You’ll probably hear this on the Mosh Pit.
